Mountains / Montañas

For those who don't know... THIS is a mountain. I remember 8 years ago, a Dutch priest was saying in his homily: "I saw a mountain for the very first time when I was 18", so Dutchies who never saw a mountain, here you are.

when I was in Barcelona with some dutch friends a few months ago, coming down from Parc Güell I told them "and now be careful, because now we are going downhill and you are not used to this. if you don't pay attention you will take a lot of speed and roll all the way down".

one of them was not careful and almost fell.

also, flying over the Pirineos, one of them just asked me "what is that?", pointing to them. "those are mountains", I replied.

(Me gusta picar, JUAS JUAS JUAS).

¡salute!

Ah! The good Fr. Sjaak and his peregrination to Lourdes. I didn't remember that you were there when he made his comment about the first time he saw a mountain...

And, where is the picture in the sail-plane?

tnarik - hahaha! so they cannot go donwhill! therefore climbing must be also very difficult! Humm, that reminds me I have to search for any famous Dutch climber on the Wikipedia , hehe. It would be very surprising.

barba larga - Ahhmm, so his name is Sjaak. I remember that comment because probably was the only thing I understood in english at that time and I found it very funny as well. The sail-plane will come... be patient :-)
